Leo and I both had a long day today. I guess it was difficult getting back in the swing of things after the long weekend. He was tired when I picked him up from Miss Stephanie's and I was tired after a busy day at work and a hard workout after work.
Tomorrow is Leo's ENT appointment. He's had four ear infections since January so I am assuming the Dr will recommend tubes. I am eager to find out what the Dr has to say. I am anticipating a good appointment tomorrow and hopefully we can get the surgery (if needed) done early this summer.
I am signing off. Leo was in bed by 6:20 tonight and I didn't hear much chatter so I know he was tired. Every night when I tuck him in, after saying our night nights and I love yous, he always says "bye bye" right after I close the door on my way out. And then I always pop back in and say "bye bye" to him. He thinks it's funny. I love him so much...

Happy Monday...
Leo and I have had a fun day today. We got up a little before 8:00, had cereal and fruit for breakfast, and took a long walk. When we got home from walking we took a dip in the pool. Leo loves being in the water!
After lunch we had a little dance party in the living room. Leo loves to dance and when we aren't watching Sesame Street, the TV is usually tuned to Music Choice 90's. We were Livin' La Vida Loca with Ricky Martin.
It's a rare occurrence that I get the camera out and Leo actually lets me take pictures of him. He thinks HE needs to be holding the camera and taking pictures instead of me and gets very upset if that is not what's happening. I did manage to get a few of him today right before his nap, only because he was distracted by the awesomeness of his cozy coupe!
He was beeping the horn in this one and saying "beep beep".
See, I pushed it too far and had the camera out too long...
The little man is still asleep, so I am going to get a few things done around here...

Busy Day with Little to Show for It...
Leo woke up earlier today than he did yesterday, so we took a nice walk before it got too unbearably hot. After that I made cinnamon rolls and we watched Sesame Street.
Leo has been saying thank you "eet tyoo" for the past couple weeks now. He says it if we hand something to him, but he also says it when he brings something to us, or when he's done with his sippy cup and wants me to take it from him "all gone, eet tyoo". It's very sweet and cute. I am proud.
He had tons of energy all day today and when I put him down tonight he was ready. Some nights I hear him in there talking to his stuffed animals an hour after I put him down, but tonight I think he was tired. And I am tired too. Some days he just wears me out and I must say that today was one of those days.
I am off to take a bath. Tomorrow should be another pleasant day...

What a Wonderful Day...
So this has been such a nice day. Leo is a handful, and with the hubby out of town (for three weeks!) I must say I wasn't sure how this long weekend would go. But, I woke up this morning with a positive attitude and Leo and I had a wonderful day. Even our trip to Wal-Mart was semi-pleasant.
We had dinner with friends and it was very enjoyable. I am so proud that Leo is a well-behaved toddler. I mean, he has his moments and yes, he is very very busy, but overall he is mild mannered and easy to be around. He is so sweet and happy.
He's been showing quite the interest in the potty lately, so I am trying to be encouraging even though I know he is not quite ready. He likes to tell me when he has a dirty diaper, "I poo poo" and turns around and backs up to me so I can check his diaper. These past few days he's started pointing to the toilet and saying "I go potty". So down come the shorts and off comes the diaper so I can sit him up on the pot for nothing to happen. But, I know it's important for me to be encouraging, so that's what I'm doing. Even though it makes me late for work. :)
Ok, I think that's enough for now. Isn't he just the most handsome little guy you've ever seen?!

Here We Go...
Okay, so this is my first blog entry. I really am not even that familiar with this whole blogging thing, but I am excited to use this as a sort of "online journal" so I will have a record of Leo's day-to-day activities. Time goes by so fast and he keeps us so busy and I am on the computer every day, so... why not use this to keep up with him?! Plus, my family will be able to keep up with what he is doing, too!
I don't have much time right now because I hear the little man waking from his nap right now. But...I will try to write more later. And maybe post a couple pics.
